Roels, as a Synergia Management venture, has been transformed from a mid-sized local family-owned upholstery company into a highly successful producer of branded product solutions in seating, acoustic and privacy across Europe.

Roels has established partnerships with the largest retail and contract clients in the Benelux and developed an innovative new assortment of solutions.

The transformation has led to an turnover increase of more than 300%, a solid and growing client base with profit margins far above industry standard. This performance has led to the strategic acquisition by the Royal Ahrend Group, its largest customer in the 4th quarter of 2014.

Roels now operates as a fully integrated but still highly successful part of the Royal Ahrend Group. All this with respect for the still active family members.

With a new approach of looking at problems wetopple.com generates new business models and concepts. We plant seeds outside the parent company so that they can grow into young plants. After doing that we help replant the baby plant into the mother company.
